Catching up
Writing a blog after a long time. Newer means like twitter and facebook kind of do the needful in communicating the needful but of course nothing like writing without restriction of letters. What’s happening? Well to start with my wife might leave me soon. She says I can’t help practice singing and now dialogues in my sleep. Woke up today and realized it was Sunday. Read some sweet reviews by the news instep. I like the fact that instep makes it a point to promote and encourage local talent rather than putting them down or filling space with foreign celebrity news. Also interesting to notice that Katreena and Kareena are now the new Lux and Head n shoulder ambassadors for Pak campaigns also. The president and the shoe episode is warped in itself but so is everything around here at the moment with your largest city on stand down mode and the rest of the country in stand drown mode. One feels proud to see how the public gathers to respond and help their fellow country men but sad to see ….. America and others announce generous aid but the damage is far bigger and more has to be done locally and internationally. Have devised a plan with Mobilink Jazz to allow people give donations through a simple sms. Going live on a telethon tonight to do my bit and ask for more from people. Pakistanis especially the poor certainly deserve a standing ovation for having to face the toughest times over and over again with such bravery! May be the governments haven’t been able to set examples for the world but people of Pakistan always have for those who wish to see! Peace to all.
You are so right . I feel that the key is to help ones self . And keep aware of our surroundings . Always be willing to help . Not be selfish and self centered . May Allah help and guide all Muslims esp in the blessed month of Ramadan 🙂

defiantly agree with you…the government hasn’t set such a good example, but the People of Pakistan- May ALLAH sbt help and aid them in this difficult time. inshaALLAH with support from Pakistani’s and People in general the country will be able to build itself again into a stronger and more United country.

yeah i find twitter boring :Pi dont know there is not much to do n today iw as watching this debate.jispe topic was twitter n the conclusion was like twitter is for 30s n 40s ppl whereas fb or orkut is for teenagers n young ppl.I guess thats right coz on tiwtter you can find evryone even Dalai Lama :O 😛

It is too depressing to see the trauma so many pakistanis are facing now….but it is great to see them stand in unity to fight this trauma…..I was watching a tribute video in youtube recently on the plane crash….and I can say it brought tears to my eyes….and I am a person who don’t cry easily……
Is there any way I can help those who have suffered…..I live all the way in Australia…..but distance is not a matter for me……what matters to me is seeing smiles on the people’s faces, especially those who have suffered………

I was listening to ur songs on facebook .. Someone said some rude things about u n ur singing .. I just gave them a reply that ” gaana bhi ek tarah Ki ibadat hai aur Ali Zafar is just doing his Ibadat” did I say something wrong ?? Some ppl from Pakistan are saying that u r not Muslim so u can’t comment like this .. I’m really upset now .. I’m a singer to n I knw how deeply a singer involved in their singing . But only bcz I’m not a Muslim means I don’t have any sense of Pakistani music ?? I strongly believe that Pakistani music industry is the best in whole world.. I heartily n truly respect you. I can’t stand this if someone is saying anything bad about you. I’ll never ever stop myself to listen to you. I don’t know to whom I can talk about this.

I’d hope by now people stop hoping for help by the government or by anything.. the only way that can help them with guarantee is them selves.. and i know that’s what people are doing.. Solute them for that..
